This project is all about creating a Shopify website that feels more like an online gallery than a traditional store.
The focus is simple. Let the artwork do the talking.
We’re designing a clean, considered experience that puts Dawn Anderson’s work front and centre, with minimal distractions and a strong emphasis on imagery, spacing and flow. The goal is to recreate that “in-gallery” feeling online, while still making it easy for people to browse, connect with pieces and purchase when they are ready.
Shopify gives us a solid foundation to handle the ecommerce side without getting in the way. Each artwork will be presented with clarity and care, with the right balance of detail, imagery and storytelling to support buying decisions without overwhelming the user.
We’re also making sure the site is easy to manage day to day. Adding new works, updating collections and keeping things fresh should be straightforward, so the website can grow alongside the artwork.
In short, this is about building a site that looks great, feels right, and quietly does its job in the background while the art takes centre stage.
